The newly re-opened and relocated bar and restaurant The Fish Market, located a few steps from the Plaza Herrera of Casco Antiguo, is a ticket to an unknown destination. It's sitting in first class and expecting a surprise when landing.

The story began a few years ago with the union of three partners Chef Carlos who had the idea to reflect their life experiences and travel in a place where the main idea is to make a tour of various corners of the world through the taste and flavours.

This is how in The Fish Market started. We will find here food and drinks from all continents, flavours that transport you from Thailand to Mexico, passing through Panama and making a short stop in Argentina. All this in a place with a lot of atmosphere and vintage air where young people and families of all nationalities converge.
 
In the middle day, you can enjoy a convivial brunch, in the afternoon there are simpler and fresher dishes, where you can find an interesting and varied offer of curry, tacos and fish during the night the place is prepared for something more sophisticated with an exquisite letter of dishes to share of author chef Carlos Serrano. A kitchen open to the public from 12:00 to 00:00 with lively music and in the evening / night music that animate the atmosphere.

The bar is led by David Harris, entire team is made up of talented and young people but most importantly people dedicated to service and Hospitality.is undoubtedly one of the differentiating elements that most attracts the attention of the place. It has a variety of cocktails to hallucinate, exquisite and original drinks for all tastes.
 
We let Carlos Serrano, chef of the place, surprise us with the best and most striking of his menu. We start with ceviche with lime cilantro and onions served with Panamanian roots chips, soft texture and perfectly combined with the sweetness of the roots chips. An excellent game.
 
Then came curry in two versions: Massaman fish curry and jasmin rice a bit spicy, ideal version for a good lunch and for other tastes the Vegan curry in a beautiful presentation.
We continued with a grilled Fish Tacos, tender texture, tasty and vegetables mmmm ... exquisite, impregnated with the lime juice that contrasted with the intensity of the fish.
Another dish that surprised us was the French fires with tzatziki sauce for its different presentation, soft and crunchy texture at the same time and the touch of sauce that was a novelty.

With what do we accompany our delicious food? We left it to bartender, who did not disappoint us and prepared two different options: Refreshing Sangria The Fish Market style, and cocktail of the house both exquisite and refreshing.
 
And as every good trip ends with a sweet taste in the mouth, we enjoy one of their desserts: best lemon meringue pie an exceptional, light, summer mix, the ones you scratch the dish until there is nothing left.
 
We regret that the adventure by different cuisines ended, we wanted to continue submerged in that traveling fantasy that only The Fish Market can offer, but that we will undoubtedly try again.
