Description

Embark on a boat ride from Panama City to Monkey Island. Admire the views of the Panama Canal and the Soberanía National Park. Enjoy a stop for lunch at a local food gallery. Be picked up from your hotel in Panama City and head out of town before the traffic madness begins. Drive parallel to the Canal and into Soberanía National Park on the way to the Gamboa Public Docks, where the Chagres River meets the Panama Canal. Board a boat and enter the Canal. Take a quick ride past the Dredging Division's facilities and along the shipping lane toward the Monkey Island area. Keep an eye out for the abundant biodiversity of Panama, and with a bit of luck, you may spot some wildlife. Reluctantly head out for a lunch stop at a “Food Gallery” where there’s an ample variety of foods to pick from, including local flavors. After lunch, head back into town to be dropped off at your hotel.
