This year the standard bearers were Samy and Sandra Sandoval accompanied the queen of the capital carnival 2018 Yanidia Maure and her princesses Natasha Vargas and Leydis González.
"I feel proud to wear the pollera, to be the standard bearer and to share this moment with the small town. It's the third time I've seen it, and this parade does not lack anything, they have to do it four times a year, "said Sandra Sandoval.
While the administrator of the Tourism Authority Gustavo Him, I point out that the parade, in addition to extolling our cultural and folkloric expressions exposing the beauty of the pollera, also seeks to promote tourism and family coexistence.
The parade began in the Governorate of the city of Las Tablas, continuing along the street of Paseo Carlos López, down to Bolívar street and returning through the 8 de Noviembre street until finishing at the grounds of the Royal Gin Garden.
