Copa Airlines launched a campaign on Wednesday that aims to attract more than 125,000 tourists to Panama, encouraging travelers in transit to stay in the Central American country for up to a week, on their way to their final destination or country of origin. "Panama Stopover" (Panama Escala) campaign, which offers "knowing two destinations with the price of one", was presented at the facilities of the Biodiversity Museum, in the capital, by Copa in conjunction with the Panama Tourism Authority ( ATP) and the Tourism Promotion Fund (Promtur), which collaborated on the idea. The airline said that with this offer it seeks to encourage the more than 6 million passengers that annually travel through Panama to include an extended stop in their itinerary. the country of up to seven days at the time of buying the ticket, without additional cost in the air fare.
