Isla Canas - Panama

Isla Canas it is located in the Province of Los Santos in the District of Tonosí on a 13-kilometer-long beach, being the most important nesting site for Pacific sea turtles in Panama, mainly of the Lapidochelis Olivacea species. This refuge also protects an important mangrove ecosystem habitat of different marine species.
